Daddy Daughter Day

I spent the whole day with Genevieve while Becky played with her cousin, Amber. I used to spend every night alone with Genevieve, but that has become very rare since I started law school. So, today was a rare treat.

We went to the Minneapolis Zoo with Maya and Brinn Fetters with their dad, Evan.

And hear what frogs croaking sound like. Genevieve really liked this one because she got to press buttons.
Plus, we topped the day off with one of my ideas for dinner. Hot dogs and beans. Genevieve had 3 servings of beans and almost a whole hotdog, plus jalapeno chips (she likes them but pants like a dog after eating one. They are "hot, daddy.")

It was a great day and makes having to study tonight okay.

P.S. Becky had a fun day too relaxing and sewing a cute belt for herself.
