Snow and Valentines

Neals little helper

We've had to have the car in four wheel drive to get in and out of the neighborhood for the last week and a half-- it just keeps snowing and snowing and snowing. Just a few inches at a time, but almost every night. Neal is getting tired of riding his bike through it every day for school, poor guy! And not to mention the clearing of sidewalks over and over and over.... it sure does make for some gorgeous winter scenes though.

Valentines was so fun yesterday.
We invited some little friends over to decorate cookies with us, yummy and wow- there were sugar sprinkles everywhere! We love big messes, especially yummy ones. It was also a great day since both of our moms sent us goodies in the mail making us feel extra special. We have awesome moms. and awesome families. and awesome friends. Valentines is my favorite.

Genevieve just came in holding my toothbrush and the toothpaste. She said she wants to try my "big one and see how it feels". Awesome.

Here is another belly pic per request of my Dad:
(taken today- after running errands- hence the slightly haggard look)

I went in for a belly check-up yesterday- all to find out that my appointment was actually for today. Luckily the receptionist was understanding about the case of pregnancy brain and let me be seen anyway!

Things are still going well: Baby is as hefty as a pineapple, and about 17 inches long. We went in last week to tour the birthing center, and it started getting us all sorts of excited for this new little lady to come into our life! I'll be 33 weeks along on Monday.

  1. Wow Becky! 17 inches already! Jaxson was only 16.5 when he was born (granted, he is now my taller one). But then, my babies are bound to be much shorter than yours. ;)
I'm glad you had a fun Valentines Day.

  2. So cute! So I want to hear more about the birthing center! Is it anything like the one at Utah Valley? We have had a few snowy days, but not too much. Totally ready for spring. Thanks for the update! We love them!

  4. Wahoo! ADORABLE belly. And Genevieve is so beautiful. Gosh she is....I have to say, I had my last at 37 weeks so you could be done in a month! Ha! Hope not though. Get the baby big and plump! Hang in there momma. The end is near!
