Baby Jungle Gym is going to be born very soon. Contemplating that change, I realized yesterday that Genevieve and I have had four whole years of one-on-one time together. Our one-on-one time started when Becky was working at the Barber School in Salt Lake right after Genevieve was born.
I would feed her a bottle and hold her a lot. It was the perfect way to end my day.
Bathy time has also mostly been a Daddy affair up until this year. We love to splash in the tub and get Becky wet when Genevieve gets out of the tub.
We have always loved to hang out a lot.
When I don't have school in the morning we always make pancakes together and then tell Becky that breakfast is ready.
Genevieve is my work-out buddy. She always wants to come into the basement with me when I go to work out. We get "strongs to the finich" together. She can lift a 25 pound dumb bell.
Bedtime is story time with Genevieve. Every night I tell her a story from when I was a little boy, give her a kiss, ask her "who's my special girl", and then we say "I love you."
We like to go outside in the summertime. Genevieve comes out to play in her sandbox while I cut the grass.
Genevieve loves to ride on my shoulders. In fact that is where she is now while I write this.
We love to eat treats together.
Genevieve is my special girl. We love to have fun together. We are exited for Baby Jungle Gym to be born and are exited to have her join our daddy-daughter party.
This is so sweet! Love this post Neal! It is quite a change when you add another to the pot, but it is a wonderful and delightful change! We are excited!
