Two weeks, and a little bit... It will be three on Friday.
I would have posted pics sooner,
but I didn't survive last week.
Mrrr.
Luckily Neals mom was able to stay,
she saved us! Genevieve loved it.
"You can live here" She told her Memere.
I also would post pics of Ruby with her eyes open...
but,
she sleeps like a champ!
I'll keep trying to get an awake shot for you.
Grandma Dean sent this adorable quilt.
Genevieve thinks it's hers.
Miss G is getting so good at holding her sister,
she loves Ruby so much.
Every time G walks past the baby
she gently strokes her cheek or forehead.
She also keeps asking if it's
"none more Sundays left until Grandma comes?"
Almost.
Neal is the best Daddy in the world. He holds Ruby so I can get some sleep at night, He changes her yucky dipes. He reads to Genevieve in the evenings, and tells her scripture stories, and lets her climb on his shoulders when he gets home from school (two more weeeeeeks! what!). How he manages to keep up with everything so perfectly is something I'll never know (and I am here to see it first-hand!). He is amazing and so incredibly patient. I love him so much.
We love having this new little miracle in our home.

She is so wonderful, I hope you are having a MUCH better week. I love you!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful. And I'm sorry it has been rough. I am a momma who functions on sleep and schedule, so the first 6mo when I have a newborn I hate my life. But, it will get better. Hang in there and if you ever need to chat just FB me, I'll be there. Love you guys.
ReplyDeleteGenevieve is getting so big! How much fun for her to have a sister. All girls need at least one. I really love mine! What a great post. :)
ReplyDeleteAw. She is so adorable! Aren't husbands amazing sometimes? I felt the same way about mine when my babies were tiny (and now, of course). ;)
