It was hot.

Last week we so hot and muggy. 

We bottled peaches and pears for two whole days, 

and then Neal said it was time to run through the sprinklers. 

Boy, was it ever! I don't think I'll ever get used to muggy-hot.

Miss G and Ruby K loved it,

they're insta-happy when they are playing in the water.

Preschool started last week as well,

except now this week she wears her backpack on her front.

It feels better that way, apparently.

G says she hates going to school:

"they make me sit down and hold still. and listen.

and I hate it. but I like playing with play-dough."

Ruby K is 5 months old.

She is rolling like a champ,

and giggling, and loves to be held.

Upright.

None of that laying down stuff.

It's for babies.

G just has darker eyes and hair. 

And alot more hair too!
