Road trip!
Heading to Utah in July,
Both the girls did really good on their 20+ hour car ride!
I however, did horrible.
As usual.
I'm pretty sure all us girls were in tears all at the same time at least two times. Poor Neal.
Our AC went out for part of the ride, so we stopped at a dealership while the awesome guys took the time to fix it quickly so we could get back on the road. We also were able to stay at the most amazing hotel on the way to to Ut: they had a big waterslide!!!
Fun cousin time!
Splash pad parties! It was so toasty in Ut,
we discovered a couple of splash pads we've never been to.
I loved spending time with family, and with friends.
So many good people that are so dear to my heart!
Thanks to everyone who was able to spend time to make some memories with us!
Neal was busy studying and taking the bar (finally!) while we were in UT. He was in testing for 12 hours! He says he thinks he did alright.... we'll find out the results in another month and a half. Keep your fingers crossed!
Chillin' at Grandmas
Parade on Pioneer Day!
We got to see the Army of Helaman march in the parade. It was so touching to see so many young men lined up and walking and singing all together. Such a neat spirit!

Ruby's First Ponytail!
My Uncle Russ got married in the Nauvoo temple.
On our way there, we traveled from utah with my mom and sister.
We stopped at church sites
in Independence MO, and also Liberty Jail, Far west, and Hauns Mill.
We also spent some time at the valley of Adam-Ondi-Ahman.
It's so beautiful and peaceful there. It's one of my favorite places.
Nauvoo temple, ...itchy noses??
While we were in Nauvoo we were able to spend some time with some of my cousins, and their kids. It was so fun, since I haven't seen any of them for at least 4 years! I loved seeing how the little ones have changed and I also loved catching up with the big ones. I really enjoyed visiting the homes and buildings in Old Nauvoo, hearing the stories of so many remarkable people. I am so inspired by the people I heard about while I was there.
G was in the kids parade right before the musical performance in Old Nauvoo.
Sunset on the Mississippi.
While we were in Old Nauvoo, it was blazing hot and sticky. I hated trying to nurse outside. I decided to be more private so I went upstairs in the old Cultural Hall to the Ballroom where it was empty. Half way through feeding Ruby, 9 young missionaries come bounding up the stairs. They were so sweet and asked if they could sing us a song! We got our own little performance. The floor in the cultural hall is the original floor, where Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and other remarkable saints have walked. The Missionaries sang "My Heavenly Father Loves Me" I loved the spirit that was brought as they sang, because it's true: We are so loved by our Father in Heaven. He has given us so many beautiful creations to enjoy and so many wonderful blessings.
"He gave me my eyes that I might see the color of butterfly wings,
He gave me my ears that I might hear the magical sounds of things
He gave me my life my mind, my heart, I thank him reverently.
For all these creations of which I'm a part
Yes I know Heavenly Father loves me."

So much fun! You look amazing, Becky, and your kids are adorable!
