Loving this.
Saturday we got bundled up (snow pants, two coats, hats, winter boots and gloves... to walk around in.) and went to Hudson WI for the hot air balloon fest. I've only ever been to the balloon launches in Provo on Independence day. Going to a winter balloon launch was a fun experience! The heat from the huge flames was a very welcome sensation. There were about 25 balloons, lots of pretty colors. And you can see that it was kind of a bleh type of day, so the colorful balloons floating slowly across the sky was a festive sight.
In other news, we are doing pretty good. The girls both had colds last week, now I have mine and I think Neal is jealous that he's been left out of the party. Ruby has been trying out her new tooth while she nurses (NOT cool.) and Genevieve is getting ready for valentines day at her preschool.
Neal was laid off last week, the company he worked for decided they didn't want to pay two attorneys. Bummer for us. But, Yay for us! Now we get lazy breakfasts with Daddy home while he does the mighty job search again. If you hear of a great attorney position open, let us know!
